We are extremely proud to announce that beMatrix has made a substantial part of our product range CLIMATEPARTNER CERTIFIED. This means 90% of the ECO+ frames produced on our automatic line are Climate Partner Certified Frame, an event-industry first!

The frames produced on our automatic line now have the ClimatePartner Certified Label. ClimatePartner is an independent German organization that assists companies in calculating and reducing CO2 emissions as well as finances various climate projects.
The emissions from the following products were considered for these calculations. This process is something we call cradle-to-customer + end-of-life. This ensures that the emissions from every stage of production and use are accounted for.

for the planet.
Our frames now have a small label that comes with a huge impact! We applied various measures in our production process. For example, our most common frame had a footprint reduction by about 64%.
9,000 metric tons of CO2 ↓
By doing this for approximately 90% of our product range, we will reduce our emissions by more than 9,000 metric tons CO2. That’s the emission equivalent of 1.4 million cheeseburgers, according to The Carbon Footprint of Everything by expert Mike Breners-Lee.

We have significantly lowered the footprint of the beMatrix frame by using
78.5% recycled aluminium.
This amount is the most economical and ecological ratio possible without causing a loss in quality.
What is included
in the calculations?
To be complete and exact, we took the footprint of the following products into account:

We also took the product lifecycle into account, thus receiving the CRADLE TO CUSTOMER + END OF LIFE certificate, as it is nearly impossible to define the footprint of our products while they are in use.

All our measurements, calculations, and contributions can be tracked by scanning the QR code next to the ClimatePartner label on the frame itself, or you can download the certificates on this page.
