How do I secure textiles in a curved frame?
You can secure textiles on the inside or outside of curved frames.
On the outside of the curved frame:
- Secure a panel in the frame to ensure your textile will fit with the shape of the frame.
- The panel should be small enough to not cover the slots for mounting textiles.
- Then, place the textile in the frame.
- For curved frames with a radius > 1488 mm, you can place the textiles directly in the frame.
- For frames with a smaller radius, it is best to secure a panel in the frame first with a panel small enough to not cover the slots for mounting textiles.
- Then, place the textile on the frame and glue it to the panel.
