What is COB technology?

COB stands for "Chip on Board", and is the latest development in LED bead technology. The LED lamps are directly mounted on the PCB substrate rather than indirectly via SMD housings.  

COB allows for higher resolution screens with less heat generation, making it more eco-friendly. This technology is robust and allows for stunning image quality.
