What is IMD 2in1?

IMD 2IN1 is state-of-the-art LED technology embodying the latest development in the surface-mounted Light Emitting Diode technology.  

This technology ensures uniform color rendering, allows for mixing of different batches, and offers unparalleled viewing experiences over wider viewing angles. The 2IN1 LED consists of two full-color pixels packaged into one single housing, also called IMD or Integrated Matrix Device. This dual housing makes the 2IN1 bigger, resulting in stronger bonding with the PCB, more directional images or optical uniformity, and better batch consistency, as multiple LEDs are housed one body.
